- Will it really look like us?
- Faces are painted with photographic fidelity to your photos: face shape, eyes, skin tone, hair, glasses, the lot. Nothing is smoothed or slimmed. Clear, front-facing photos work best. Likeness gets less reliable above four people, so we cap portraits at five. If it never looks like them after three repaints, your credits come back.
- What happens to my photos?
- They are used only to paint your portraits and are deleted 30 days after upload. Nothing is ever shown publicly, nothing is used to train anything, and you confirm you have the right to use each photo you upload.
- Can I print it?
- Yes. Unlocked files are 2K, and wall-art formats include a 4K version suitable for canvas prints. Previews are for choosing, not printing.
- What if a portrait fails?
- If a generation fails, the credits come back automatically. Clean downloads are final once delivered.
- Is this made with AI?
- Yes, and we say so. Your photos go to an image model that paints the composition and keeps every face true. Stylised looks such as Pop Art or Stained Glass are then re-rendered from that painting, and every candidate is checked against it before you see the best two. Nothing you upload is used to train anything.
- Why doesn't it look like the usual AI art?
- Three reasons: the prompts are written in a painter's terms (glazes, edges, palette), styles are described the way a painter would paint them, and a judge rejects any candidate with smoothed skin, invented objects or a changed face. You see the two that pass.
